
The Ghana U16 Male National team will begin a training camp on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Glow Lamp Soccer Academy, in preparation for the 7th edition of the Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational tournament, scheduled for May 25, 2025.
A first batch of 30 players is expected to arrive at the camp in Abreshia, Elmina (off the Cape Coast-Takoradi road) at 2:00 pm on March 19. A second batch will join the camp in April for the intensive pre-tournament training.
Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey will lead the training sessions as Head Coach, assisted by John Oppong Welbeck and Awudu Issaka.
The Guadeloupe U16 Invitational tournament will bring together teams from around the world, providing a platform for Ghana's young players to test their skills against top opposition from Mexico, France, Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Togo.
The tournament will play a crucial role in the team's development, preparing them for future international competitions.
