The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) just held its 2024/25 ordinary session of Congress at the Ho Municipal Assembly Conference room on October 3, 2024. Chairman Daniel Agbogah highlighted the association's successes over the past year, emphasizing the need for a positive mindset heading into the new season. He also stressed the importance of supporting club owners and administrators with the right business platforms, ensuring they have the necessary resources to thrive in the game.

Agbogah's vision is to make football a sustainable social business, offering more opportunities for stakeholders to explore. This move is expected to bring relief and hope to club owners, ultimately improving football businesses in the region.

"Football however is a social business, and we, the EXCO are committed to working hard to ensure that you are offered a lot more business platforms for you to explore further" he said.

‘’This however does not only bring relief to the numerous club owners present but a hope of improving football businesses in the region’’ he added.

Executive Council member Gideon Fosu, representing President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, praised Chairman Agbogah's organization of an outstanding league last season. Fosu also emphasized the need to develop grassroots football, a key concern for President Simeon-Okraku.
