Isaac Vorsah has been given compassionate leave by club, Hoffenheim following the death of his younger brother in Ghana.

The Black Stars defender was due back Monday after his participation at the World Cup with Ghana but the Bundesliga side decided to hand him an indefinite extension.

"This is more than a tragedy," Hoffenheim manager Ralf Ragnick told the Bundesliga club’s website.

Joshua Vorsah, 19, died Saturday morning in Accra in the presence of the defender.
