WAFA have ended Accra Hearts of Oak's unbeaten away record in the Ghana Premier League this season season with an emphatic 3:0 drubbing of the Phobians in Sogakope.
The academy boys were in scientilating form right from the blast of the whistle; and by midway of the first half, they had tore the Phobians into shreds, ending the match as a contest
Komla Agbegniadan hit a brace to become the star of the show, starting with a 3rd minute opener.
Charles Boateng doubled WAFA's lead four minutes later.
Agbegniadan put the match beyond the reach of the Phobians as in the 25th minute with the 3rd goal for WAFA.
The win does not only end Hearts of Oak's enviable ubeaten away record this season, but it also leaves them in danger of losing top spot by the end of the 23rd week.
Second-placed Wa All Stars would replace Hearts on top if they beat Bechem United in Wa on Sunday.
Third-placed Aduana Stars are also in line to grab top spot if they beat Hasaacas in Sekondi and All Stars fail to win.
Whiles ending Hearts of Oak's unbeaten away run, WAFA consolidated their own proud unbeaten home record.
They have now moved up to 4th, above Asante Kotoko and Medeama on goal difference.
