WAFA midfielder Zakaria Mumuni has been adjudged Ghana Premier League Player of the Month for June.
The 18-year-old won two out of the five matches played in the month under review and scored three goals (consecutively).
Mumuni becomes the second from the renowned to win a monthly award after Dutchman John Killa won the Coach of the Month in March.
He joins previous winners Gilbert Fiamenyo (January), Noah Martey (February), Nathaniel Asamoah (March) and Bernard Ofori (May).
Mumuni received his cash prize of GHs 500 on Sunday as WAFA laboured to beat Heart of Lions 2-1 in Sogakope.
