Ghana U20 coach Desmond Ofei has named a strong  starting XI to battle Cote D'voire in the semi-final of the WAFU B Youth Championship, on Sunday October 27, 2024.

Winger Kelvin Nkrumah returns to the starting line-up while goalkeeper Benjamin Twum maintains his place in post ahead of Saed Yakubu.

Dacosta Antwi, Phenyin- Denis Marfo, Maxwell Azafokpe and Edwin Kuffuor Asamoah will marshal the defensive network of the team against the Ivorians.

Mohaison Mahmoud, Collins Boah and Hayford Adu Boahene have all been named in the starting squad with Musibau Aziz and Jerry Afriyie expected to form a strike partnership.

The Black Satellites will take on Cote D'voire in the first semi-final of the WAFU B U20 Championship on Sunday October 27, 2024, with the epic match set to take place at the Stade Municipal in Togo, Kick off 15:00 GMT

The WAFU B U20 Championship serves as the qualification for the 2025 Africa U20 Cup of Nations, with only the finalists going through.

This 2025 U20 AFCON will also serve as the African qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, where the four semi-finalists will qualify automatically.
