The 2016/17 MTN FA Cup Awards ceremony has been held at the M-Plaza Hotel in Accra on Wednesday evening.
Deserving players and officials were rewarded for their exceptional performances in last season’s edition of the competition which saw Asante Kotoko defeat Hearts of Oak in the final to emerge as Champions.
Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Cobinnah won the topmost award of the night beating Asante Kotoko’s Sadick Adams and Amidaus’ Isaac Amoah to win the Most Valuable Player award.
Title winning Asante Kotoko former coach Steve Pollack also won the Coach of the year award at the expense of compatriot Frank Nuttall.
