Women's Premier League clubs have begun receiving their first tranche of footballs for the 2024/2025 season.
Each club is being supplied with 15 footballs in this initial distribution, consisting of 10 match balls and 5 training balls. The remaining 5 footballs will be provided at a later date.
The distribution commenced on Friday, with the first recipients including Berry Ladies FC, Halifax Ladies, Prisons Ladies FC, Kumasi Sports Academy, Northern Ladies, Epiphany Warriors, and Supreme Ladies.
These footballs are expected to play a crucial role in the clubs' preparation for the upcoming season, ensuring they have the necessary equipment for both training sessions and official matches.
This initiative by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is part of its ongoing efforts to support women's football and enhance the quality of the game across the country.
The distribution of footballs is set to continue in the coming days until all Women's Premier League clubs have received their allocations.
