The last batch of matches for the Women’s Premier League comes off this weekend with a number of tantalizing fixtures to look forward in the Northern Zone. There shall be a derby on the final day of the competition where Ashtown Ladies take on familiar foes Supreme Ladies.
This will be a crucial game for the home side who lost miserably to Ampem Darkoa on match day 13. Ashtown Ladies are two points away from the second spot and will need a win to boost their chances of finishing the season in second place.
Supreme ladies lost 2-1 to Northern Ladies last weekend and will look to bounce back to restore their lost pride. Both teams dropped points over the weekend and will look forward to making amends with this crunch week 14 fixture.
A hat-trick from Sandra Owusu Ansah and a brace from Nancy Amoh secured all points for Supreme Ladies in a 5-1 mauling where Joyce Antwiwaah Fenteng got Ashtown Ladies a 71st minute consolation.
KUMASI SPORTS ACADEMY VS PEARLPIA LADIES
Highly flying Kumasi Sports Academy will aim at solidifying their grip on the spot as they welcome compatriots, Pearl Pia Ladies to Okese park on match day 14.
