Hasaacas Ladies continued their supreme form after crashing Immigration Ladies 3-0 on match day 9 of the Women’s Premier League at the Sekondi Gyandu Park on Saturday.
The home side scored the first goal in the 28th minute following a defensive blander to gift Milot Abena Pokua the opener.
After the goal, Immigration Ladies pressed to get the equaliser but were denied by the defensive pair of Janet Egyir and Regina Antwi, as the first half ended 1 nil in favour of Hasaacas Ladies.
Back from recess, Veronica Appiah scored the second goal from an in swinger from the midfield in the 49th minute to double their advantage.
Hasaccas Ladies had a lot of chances to score more goals but goalkeeper Mary Neequaye of Immigration ladies saved the day for the visitors as she made wonderful saves for her side.
Mary Neequaye pulled another brilliant save after pushing a Milot Pokua;s goal bound shot but striker Doris Boaduwaa was at the right place at the right time to slot home the rebound for the 3rd goal in the 86th minute.
Hasaacas Ladies have yet to lose a match in the on-going competition and sit at the top of the Southern Zone table with 23 points.
The impressive display by goalkeeper Mary Neequaye of Immigration Ladies in the second half won her the Nasco player of the match award.
