Yahaya Mohammed scored a brace to help Aduana Stars defeat Medeama 3-0 at the Nana Agyeman Badu park in Dormaa.
The former Asante Kotoko striker hit a first half brace as his impressive goal scoring form has seen him move to a total of six goals this season.
The defeat has dealt Medeama a heavy blow as they now drop to bottom of the league log with Aduana now at 8th position.
Meanwhile, New Edubiase recorded their first away victory of the season after beating Asante Kotoko 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday evening.
Prince Antwi scored for New Edubiase in the 20th minute to halt the Porcupine Warriors' recent winning streak.
The result has seen New Edubiase move from the bottom of the league log to 13th whiles Asante Kotoko maintain their 8th position.
