Ghanaian midfielder Ishmael Yartey has agreed a four-year contract with French side Sochaux from Benfica.
The 22-year-old midfielder will undergo a medical over the weekend before officially putting pen to paper, according to the club's official website.
Yartey joined Benfica in 2009 but gone out on loan several times after failing to make the breakthrough.
He impressed during a spell with Servette in Geneva, Switzerland, where he scored eight times in 31 matches last season.
But he now has an opportunity to continue his development at Sochaux, who finished 14th in Ligue 1 in 2011/12.
