The Black Maidens have stepped up preparations for Friday's FIFA U17 World Cup qualifier against Senegal by holding their first training session in Dakar.

The team trained at the Centre d'Excellence Youssoupha Ndiaye in Guéréo, with all 24 players taking part in an intensive session.

The opening workout focused on tactical organization, ball possession, movement, and fitness as the coaches began fine-tuning the squad for the highly anticipated encounter.

There were no injury concerns, with every player completing the session successfully, providing a major boost for the technical team ahead of the match.

Ghana will face Senegal at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar on Friday, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

The team is expected to hold another training session before Friday's showdown as they put the finishing touches to their preparations for the clash against the hosts.
