Ghana suffered a 3-2 defeat to Zambia in their pre-Africa Women's Cup of Nations friendly match played on Saturday in Lusaka.

Racheal Kundananji’s second-half hat-trick handed the Black Queens a shocking defeat despite taking a 2-0 lead by half-time.

Portia Boakye and Elizabeth Addo were the scorers for Ghana, a lead that they took into the break.

The home side however returned from the break to score three goals and snatch victory from Bashiru Hayford's side.

The team will leave Zambia on November 5 to Kenya where they are expected to play their Kenyan counterparts in a pre-tournament friendly game on November 7.

The Black Queens will return to Ghana on November 9 and will wrap up preparations for the competition with a friendly match against South Africa's Bayana Bayana before commencement of the tournament on Saturday November 17.

The Black Stars will open their AWCON campaign when they face Algeria at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 17.
