The Black Satellites wrapped up their preparations on Sunday morning with a final training session in Yamoussoukro, Côte d'Ivoire, ahead of their opening fixture against Nigeria in the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship.

Head coach Maxwell Konadu oversaw the final workout as the squad fine-tuned its tactics and sharpened its readiness for Monday's eagerly anticipated Group B encounter at the Lycée Scientifique Stadium in Yamoussoukro.

The clash with Nigeria marks the beginning of Ghana's quest for regional honours, with the Black Satellites set to face Burkina Faso and Togo in their remaining group matches. Konadu's side will be aiming to secure a place in the knockout stage and mount a strong challenge for the WAFU B U-20 Championship title.

The championship offers the Black Satellites a valuable platform to build momentum, strengthen team cohesion and measure themselves against some of West Africa's brightest young talents as they continue preparations for the 2027 TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.
