The Club Licensing Committee of the Ghana Football Association has held a review meeting to access the application of the 18 Premier League clubs for Licence to participate in the 2023/24 GPL season.

The historic meeting reviewed the completed online applications of these 18 clubs via the CAF Club Licensing Platform (CLOP).

Ghana is among a few Associations in Africa who have taken the bold step to implement the CLOP in both the Men’s CAF Inter Club and National Licensing process.

Clubs in the Premier and Division One League were taken through the usage of the online platform in July 2023 and have adapted quickly to the usage of the platform.

The Committee led by Chairman, Dr Kwame Baah-Nuakoh will generate decisions on the applications in the system after accessing the clubs in the five major thematic areas; Sporting, Infrastructure, Legal, Financial and Personnel & Administrative.
