Ghana’s All African Games women’s football team, the Black Princesses return to camp on Thursday to continue their planning for their first major international competition.
The team enjoyed a one week break but resume preparations ahead of next month's competition.
Coach of the Under-19 team, Mumuni Gamel and the rest of his backroom staff with barely a month for their Group B opener against host, Algeria on July 9 in the competition have called up 25 players to the national camp in Prampram.
The Black Princesses after their group opener play Cameroon three days later before completing their matches in Group B with a game against Senegal on July 15.
This year’s All African Games women’s football competition is the second time women would be engaged in the game and Ghana’s debut at the Games after Nigeria had hosted the first edition of the competition in 2003.
Ghana qualified straight for this year’s competition from Zone III.
