Ghana's womens U-20 side, the Black Princesses have secured a date with Nigeria in the final qualifier for the 2011 All Africa Games after drubbing Liberia 7-0 on Sunday in Accra.
The win at the El-Wak Stadium sees Ghana complete the preliminary round on an 11-0 aggregate scoreline after winning the first leg 4-0 in Monrovia a fortnight ago.
Alice Danso and Mercy Myles both grabbed a brace each with Priscilla Okyere and Cynthia Addobea also finding target as the Liberians conceded an own goal.
The result and performance left Kuuku Dadzie, coach of the side thrilled.
"It was a great team performance and we are really excited to qualify to the next stage," the Black Princesses coach said after the game.
"Over two legs, we were the better team and deserved to go through. But scoring this number of goals is very pleasing. However the work is not over. We have another important game [against Nigeria] to play."
Ghana's two-leg clash with Nigeria in the final qualifier will be played in April to determine which side secures one of the qualifying places at the Games in Mozambique later in September.
The Black Princesses won bronze at the 2007 All Africa Games in Algeria.
