Ghana’s U15 boys continued their scintillating form at the 2025 African Schools Football Championship with a commanding 3-0 win over Algeria on Thursday afternoon, sealing their place at the top of Group A with an unblemished record.

The dominant victory, played out at the University of Ghana Stadium, marked the third consecutive win for the young Ghanaian team, who have yet to concede a goal in the tournament.

Having already dispatched Uganda 2-0 and South Africa 1-0 respectively, the Ghanaian side entered the final group game brimming with confidence — and delivered a performance that reflected both composure and quality.

Head coach Kwaku Danso’s influence has been evident throughout the campaign, with the team displaying a fine balance of tactical discipline and attacking flair.

The three-goal triumph over Algeria brought Ghana’s group-stage goal tally to six, a testament to their strength at both ends of the pitch.

With three wins from three and a flawless defensive record, Ghana advance to the semi-finals as group winners and strong title contenders.

Ghana’s impressive showing on home soil highlights the Football Association's continued investment in youth football development.
