The countdown to the FIFAe Continental Championship Africa is underway, and Ghana’s Black Asteroids are preparing to take their place among the continent’s best eFootball nations.
Their qualification for the historic tournament was built on teamwork, discipline and consistency. But behind the national team badge are the individuals who will take on the challenge when the competition begins in Morocco.
From experienced competitors to players determined to make their mark on the international stage, the Black Asteroids squad brings together talent with one shared objective: to represent Ghana with pride and compete for continental glory.
The Coach
At the heart of the team is Emmanuel Lawson, whose role extends beyond tactics and match preparation. The coach has been responsible for creating the right environment for the players to develop as a unit, managing the demands of international competition and ensuring that Ghana arrives in Casablanca ready for the challenge.
For Emmanuel lawson, the tournament represents an opportunity to demonstrate the progress being made in Ghanaian eFootball.

Wondhakid has been an important part of Ghana's journey to the FIFAe Continental Championship and will be looking to bring his experience and competitive edge to the continental stage. He has been in the Esports industry for over 14 years and currently the Captain of the Black Asteroids.
Whether controlling the tempo, creating chances or defending under pressure, Wondhakid will have an important role to play when Ghana begins its campaign.

Style of Play: Aggressive
For Medicine, Casablanca represents another opportunity to test his ability against some of Africa's best eFootball players. Medicine has been Ghana’s best 1v1 efootball player and one of the best in West Africa for years now and he is hoping to help Team Ghana to Qualify to the
FIFAe World Cup 2026.
The stage is bigger, the margins are smaller and every match will matter.

Individual talent can win matches, but the Black Asteroids know that success in Casablanca will depend on the team.
The FIFAe Continental Championship will bring together eight of Africa's leading eFootball nations, with Ghana aiming to progress through the competition and keep its FIFAe World Cup ambitions alive.
