The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has conducted a comprehensive training workshop for Venue Media Officers of the Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and Malta Guinness Women's Premier League. The workshop aimed to equip Venue Media Officers with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols.
The Workshop covered Effective Implementation of the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols and Responsibilities of Venue Media Officers in ensuring safety and security during matches.
Facilitators and participants engaged in a productive discussion on best practices for implementing the protocols, fostering a collaborative approach to enhancing safety and security measures in Ghanaian football.
The training workshop is part of the GFA's efforts to strengthen safety and security measures in the Ghanaian game, following the tragic incident at Nsoatre that resulted in the loss of life of Francis Nana Yaw Frimpong (Nana Pooley), a supporter of Asante Kotoko.
