Hearts of Oak forward Mawuli Wayo has been named the Player of the Month for December/January in the Ghana Premier League. The winger scored two crucial goals, earning his side three points against Accra Lions in an away match, and was named the Most Valuable Player. He also won the NASCO Player of the Match award against Heart of Lions.
Mawuli Wayo's impressive record for December/January includes three goals in seven matches and two NASCO Player of the Match awards in 315 minutes. He is currently the club's top scorer in all competitions this season, with a total of five league goals.
As a prize, Mawuli Wayo will receive a 42-inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited.
