The Premier League continues this weekend with six mouth-watering matches scheduled for Sunday March 16, 2025.

15:00 Bechem United vs Vision FC - Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park

Bechem United will aim to return back to winning ways when they entertain new entrants Vision FC to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday March 16, 2025.

United have trailed in their last two successive league matches against Aduana FC (1-0) and Medeama SC (3-1), (W2, D1).Those results have seen the Hunters slipped to the 7th position in the league table with 30 points, having scored 19 and conceded 14 in 20 round of matches.

A resilient Holy Stars came from a goal down to rescue a 1-1 draw at Karela United over the weekend, but Abdulai Gazale’s men have now gone five league games without a win ( D3,L2),their worst record in the league so far.

Those results have seen the Aiyinase lads occupy the 10th position in the league table with 24 points, having scored 21 and conceded 22. Karela United travel to the Kpando Sports Stadium to battle Heart of Lions on Sunday in the Premier League.

Inconsistencies in the last five league matches (W1, D1, L3) have seen Heart of Lions lose ground in the Premier League title race. They’ve amassed 34 points and are currently 4th in the table, having scored 19 and conceded 12.

Bashiru Hayford’s men are the fourth best home side in the league. Lions come into this fixture with four wins in their last five home games despite their recent bad performance. They will be keen to secure their eighth home win on Sunday.

Nations FC will seek to end their three-game losing streak when they welcome Medeama SC to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday March 16, 2025.

Head Coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey’s men suffered yet another defeat (1-0) for the third time consecutively in the last five outings (W2, L3)- their worst run since the start of the 2024/25 campaign. Nations FC are currently occupying the 5th position in the league table with 32 points, having scored the second most goals (22) and conceded 12. They are the fifth weakest home side and will be keen to grab all the spoils on Sunday.

Following a 3-1 win over Bechem United at home grounds last weekend, Medeama SC now have the opportunity to strengthen their slender grip in the league title race as they aim for their third successive win in the league for the first time since September 2024.

The Mauve and Yellow are behind the host (6th) in the table on goal difference. They’ve amassed 32 points in 20 league matches, having scored the third joint most goals (21) and conceded 17. It’s been a tough season for Cities, who suffered their 13th defeat in the league this season at away to giants Asante Kotoko last weekend.

They’ve managed 2 wins and 3 defeats in the last five outings, having scored 14 and conceded the most goals (28). Cities are currently 17th in the relegation zone with 17 points. They head into this fixture as the eighth weakest home side. The Royals will be desperate to grab the maximum points on Sunday over a Berekum Chelsea side they’ve never lost to at home soil in the league since 2020.

A strong run of Premier League form, which includes three wins from their last five outings (W3, L2), have boosted Samuel Boadu’s men confidence as they trip to the capital on Sunday. They’ve secured 28 points in 20 round of matches and are currently 8th in the league table.
