Women's Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies are champions of the Northern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for 2023/24 despite a 1-0 loss to Kumasi Sports Academy on the final day of the season.

Theresah Darko’s 33rd minute strike handed Kumasi Sports Academy a 1-0 win at home but that wasn't enough to stop the visitors from winning the League in the Northern Zone.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies ended the campaign with 34 points - three points ahead of Northern Ladies who were held by Prisons Ladies on Matchday 18.

The champions recorded eleven(11) wins, one draw and six defeats in 18 Premier League games to win the Northern Zone to secure a play-off spot against four-time winners Hasaacas Ladies who beat Faith Ladies on the final day day to win the Southern Zone title.

The Malta Guinness Women's Premier League final will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Winner of clash will represent Ghana at the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in August.
