The Ghana Football Association (GFA) expresses immense appreciation to all participants of the FIFA Women's Football campaign which took place at the Opoku Ware School.
The two-day event brought together 320 basic school girls selected from Five District and 32 basic schools in Kumasi. They were aged 6-12, raging from classes 4 to 6.
We want to thank the Headteachers, teachers, sports coordinators, Ambassadors and Female Division One League players for the participating in the project.
The FIFA Women's Football campaign did not only encouraged active participation but also created an environment of fun and togetherness.
We truly appreciate the efforts of teachers and for their contributions in empowering the girls through football and creating such a meaningful experience for the betterment of women's football in Ghana.
GFA would also like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all the girls participants, their enthusiasm and comportment made this event truly memorable.
