The Black Meteors trained on Saturday evening in Cairo as they continue preparations for TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations scheduled to begin from June 24 - July 8,2023.
The National U23 team have been in Alexandria since arriving in Egypt on Monday and played a friendly against their Egyptian counterparts on Thursday.
The friendly game against the defending U23 AFCON winners which was played at the Alexandria Stadium ended 1-1.
The team had a recovery session at the Alex West Training pitch on Friday before making the trip to Cairo on Saturday morning.
All 24 players in camp actively took part in training session which was held on Saturday evening with Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his assistants taking the players through a tactical session.
The team is lining up a friendly against an Egyptian Club side on Tuesday June 21 before traveling to Morocco.
Ghana will face Congo on Sunday June 25 before facing tournament hosts Morocco in their second group match of the tournament on June 27.
Ghana’s final group match will be against Guinea on June 30.
