The Black Queens recorded a convincing 4:0 victory over Ampem Darkoa Ladies in a friendly match played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Goals from Evelyn Badu, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Stella Nyamekye, and Mavis Owusu sealed an impressive win for the national side.

The Queens dominated large spells of the encounter, controlling possession and creating multiple scoring opportunities as the technical team assessed player performance.

Coach Kim Lars Björkegren’s side will continue to use such friendly matches as part of the build-up toward the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The performance will be seen as another positive step in the team’s development, with encouraging displays from both experienced internationals and emerging talents.
