Ghana have defeated Congo 3-2 in a friendly played in Brazzaville on Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda.
The match which was to unveil the 60,000 capacity newly constructed Kintele Stadium also served as a test game for the 2017 Nations Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.
The Black Stars took a two-zero lead at half time with goals from Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Babele’s own goal.
Claude Le Roy’s side however leveled at 2-2 in the second half before Jordan Ayew connected home the winning goal in injury time from Afriyie Acquah’s pass.
Coach Avram Grant’s side will now leave to Kigali where they will face Rwanda on Saturday in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group H qualifier.
