'Catch Them Young' Referees shine in MTN FA Cup Quarters

Products of the 'Catch Them Young' Referees program showcased exceptional talent in the quarter-final of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup. The first quarter-final match, held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Saturday, featured a quartet of young referees who delivered outstanding performances.

Angelous Akurugu Adonko (Centre Referee), Abraham Partey (Assistant I), Philip Amoh (Assistant II), and Theophilus Antwi Sekyi (Fourth Official) officiated the Attram De Visser versus PAC Academy game on Saturday.

On Sunday, Kingsford Oteng Yeboah will take charge of the Karela United versus Golden Kick game, assisted by Joseph Teye Awasasi (Assistant I), Haruna Yakubu (Assistant II), and Alex Amoabeng (Fourth Official).

These young referees have consistently excelled in the Access Bank Division One League and the Ghana Premier League this season, earning their selection for the MTN FA Cup quarter-finals.
