The Central Region is gearing up to host the GFA Talent Identification Programme, following a successful launch in the Volta Region. The programme is scheduled to take place in Cape Coast and Kasoa Districts on April 8-12 and 14-17, 2025, respectively.

The event aims to educate Regional Physical Education Tutors, District Coordinators, and Colts Coaches on scouting, talent identification, and basic coaching through a two-day seminar. Additionally, 15 players from 20 selected schools will participate in a football festival, with the top talents being selected for the junior national teams.

With a proven track record of hosting competitions, the Central Region is well-prepared to host the Talent Identification Programme.
