The Division One League (DOL) Super Cup committee, chaired by former Black Stars captain and Asante Kotoko legend Samuel Opoku Nti, will embark on a media tour in Sunyani on Wednesday. Joining him on this tour will be Alex Kotey, the Referees Manager at the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
As the DOL Super Cup takes a break on Wednesday, the Committee is seizing this opportunity to visit various media houses in the Sunyani area.
The tour aims to emphasize the significance of the tournament, which not only serves as a pre-season competition for participating clubs but also showcases emerging talents playing in the Division One League.
During the media engagements, the Committee members will discuss the broader initiatives of the GFA, including the Elite Girls U15 Championship, the KGL U17 Inter-Regional Tournament, and the DOL Super Cup itself. These events are part of the GFA's efforts to develop football at various levels across the country.
Additionally, a key focus of the tour will be on the "Catch Them Young Referees" program. The Committee will highlight the importance of nurturing young referees, providing them with the necessary support and protection to grow and excel in their officiating careers.
This media tour highlights the GFA's commitment to promoting and enhancing football development at all levels in Ghana.
