After an exciting start to the 2024 Division One League (DOL) Super Cup, the tournament will take a short break on Wednesday, allowing teams a day of rest before the next round of matches.
The first two match days have already seen intense competition across both groups.
In Group A, two matches were played on Monday, with Young Apostles drawing 1-1 with Hohoe United and Okwawu United securing a narrow 1-0 victory over New Edubiase United. This result has placed Okwawu United at the top of Group A.
Group B saw its opening games on Tuesday, with Vision FC claiming a convincing 2-0 win over Techiman Liberty Youth, while Techiman Heroes and Basake Holy Stars played out a thrilling 1-1 draw. Vision FC currently leads Group B with three points.
The break on Wednesday will provide teams the opportunity to recuperate and strategize for the upcoming fixtures.
The DOL Super Cup action will resume on Thursday with more matches from Group A, promising another round of intense and exciting football as teams continue their quest for the upcoming season.
