GFA holds Executive Council meeting at Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram Today

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is holding its Executive Council meeting at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram on Thursday August 8, 2024, to deliberate on a wide range of issues.

This is the first time that this top level meeting is being held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence under the stewardship of President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.

The 12-member Executive Council will take key decisions at today's meeting being held at the Technical Centre of the Ghana Football Association.

President Simeon-Okraku is presiding over the meeting which will discuss several issues hinging on governance, audit and compliance and will take stock of the several policies that are being implemented for the development and growth of football in the country.

The Executive Council will tackle issues comprehensively at its sitting on Thursday August 8, 2024.

The Members of the Executive Council will watch the Final of the 2024 KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship between Eastern Region and Western Region. The match will kick off at 14:00GMT (2pm).

The match will be broadcast live on various platforms including the GFA Official Facebook page and Max TV.

The KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship, launched in 2021, has been an avenue for talent discovery for clubs, particularly Premier and Division One League clubs, with several players being beneficiaries of the esteemed competition.

The famous Championship is aimed at identifying, training and developing young talents for the national youth teams.
