The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to host a training workshop for referees from the Ghana Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and Malta Guinness Women's Premier League this Thursday, February 20, 2025. The primary goal of this workshop is to educate referees on the enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols.

During the training, referees will gain a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities in implementing these protocols. The workshop will also provide an open platform for facilitators and participants to discuss best practices for implementing the approved protocols.

The GFA has recently approved the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols 2025, aimed at improving stadium safety and protecting all stakeholders. Referees play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of these protocols.
