Ghana will be without central defender John Boye for Wednesday's friendly against China in Xi'an.
The Black Stars will meet China in the first international between both sides at senior level and kick off is at 11:35GMT (11:35am Ghana time).
The Rennes player withdrew due to a thigh injury leaving Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah to train with 17 players at the Shaanxi Province Stadium on the eve of the game.
The clash in Xi'an, is the first fixture in 11 years for José Antonio Camacho's men.
Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan says he is expecting a competitive game as both sides prepare for their first meeting.
“(We hope to give them a) Good match. We are just here to give them a good game,” Gyan said.
“Definitely, people will be expecting us to win the game. I don’t know the Chinese team very well but they are also playing at home and they want to impress their fans. It will be very interesting but let’s see what they coach adapts. But hopefully we will give them a good match.”
