The Ghana U19 Technical Team, led by Coach Karim Zito, has arrived in Dambai for a scouting exercise aimed at identifying young football talents. This marks a historic moment, as it is the first time a national team has visited Dambai for scouting purposes.

As part of their visit, the team paid a courtesy call on the Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Kwadwo Gyapong, who expressed excitement over the initiative. He commended the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for extending its scouting efforts to the Oti Region, acknowledging that such opportunities will provide a platform for local talents to showcase their skills.

The nationwide scouting exercise is part of the GFA’s broader strategy to unearth and develop young talents for the U20 national team.

Coach Karim Zito and his team will assess promising players in Dambai and other parts of the country, ensuring a fair and inclusive selection process for the next generation of Ghanaian football stars.

The visit is expected to inspire young footballers in the region, giving them the belief that talent from every part of Ghana can be recognized at the national level.
