Hasaacas Ladies defeated Faith Ladies 3-0 on Sunday to become Champions of the Southern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League for a record eighth time.

The four-time Premier League champions needed at least one point to win the Southern Zone title and it took a Mukarama Abdulai double and Belinda Ofori's second half strike to run over their opponents. Mukarama Abdulai opened the scoring in the 12th minute before adding to the tally in the 26th minute.

The Sekondi Ladies wrapped things up in the 59th minute through Belinda Ofori who smashed home an absolute belter at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.

Hasaacas Ladies thus top the table in the Southern Zone with 39 points following 11 wins, 1 defeat and 6 draws in 18 Premier League games to seal yet another play-off final against Northern Zone champions and holders Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

The Malta Guinness Women's Premier League final will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

The Winner of this epic clash will represent Ghana at the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in August.
