ESSIAM SOCRATES VRS JONINA LADIES

After thumping bottom placed Sea Lions 4:1, debutants Jonina Ladies will travel to Enyan Abaasa Astro Turf to take on Essiam Socrates Ladies. Socrates were on the ascendency having gone two games unbeaten until losing to Soccer Intellectuals in a local derby. Both teams are battling relegation and the two sides will be fighting menacingly for the three points at stake. It is a match of equals but Essiam Socrates have a slight edge over their opponents with the home fans behind them.

FAITH LADIES VRS LADYSTRIKERS

Dansoman based Faith Ladies will be at home to Cape Coast Ladystrikers at the Carl Reindolf Park. The host suffered their first defeat against Jonina Ladies and would hope to get the maximum points to boost their title charge. Ladystrikers on the other hand have been impressive in their last three games including a home win over former champions, Hasaacas Ladies. This fixture would be a tough one looking at the current form of both teams. Faith Ladies are second in the Southern Zone table with 24 points whilst the visitors lie 7th with 18 points.

HASAACAS LADIES VRS SOCCER INTELLECTUALS

Record champions Hasaacas Ladies return to the Gyandu Park to play Soccer Intellectuals in an epic clash. The former champions have dropped points in their last three games and look very desperate to return to winning ways. The ‘dooo ladies’ are unbeaten at home and will aim to protect their home record against Soccer Intellectuals. Soccer Intellectuals on the other hand are struggling to beat the drop – as they lie in 7th place with 16 points. The host are at the apex of the league table in the Southern Zone and a loss will be a blow to their title credentials whilst a defeat for the visitors will further deepen their woes in their quest to avoid relegation.

BERRY LADIES VRS ARMY LADIES

Berry Ladies have been inconsistent in the second round of the season – reducing their chances of making the top four. They come up against Army Ladies at home with the hope of grabbing the maximum points at stake. Army Ladies are motivated ahead of this fixture having picked a point against former champions Hasaacas Ladies last weekend. With two points separating both sides on the league table and a top finish on the line, this fixture will be fiercely contested.

SEA LIONS VRS POLICE LADIES

Police Ladies will make a trip to the Ndoum Sports Stadium at Elmina to take on bottom placed Sea Lions. Sea Lions have picked only one win in fourteen Premier League games and battling relegation while Police Ladies go into this fixture buoyed by the 2-0 win over Faith Ladies last Saturday. Police Ladies are 5th on the table with 19 points – 12 points of the top and 12 points ahead of their hosts. Sea Lions slumped to a damaging 4:1 defeat to Jonina Ladies and would need to bounce back to keep their hopes of survival alive. Having drawn in their last home game, the host will go into this fixture looking to get the maximum points against Police Ladies.
