Hohoe United beat Rainmasters, Port City pip Kotoku Royals in Zone Three

Zone Three leaders Hohoe United secured a dramatic 2-0 victory over Rainmasters FC at the McDan Sports Complex on Saturday, thanks to goals from Faruk Mohammed and William Oduro. Faruk Mohammed converted a spot kick in the 20th minute for Hohoe United, while William Oduro's long-range strike in the 42nd minute helped Hohoe United grab all the spoils. Hohoe United are currently leading the table with 48 points, four points ahead of second-placed Port City FC.

Koforidua Semper Fi came from behind twice to earn an important victory at True Democracy in a five-goal thriller. Kwame Justice Akugre scored an early goal in the 8th minute for True Democracy, but Francis Eshun responded with a volley for the visitors before halftime. Isaac Botchway gave True Democracy the lead again in the 71st minute, while Prosper Afeletey made it 2-2 for Koforidua Semper Fi six minutes later. Samuel Adonteng Owusu then netted the decisive goal for Koforidua Semper Fi in stoppage time. That win saw Koforidua Semper Fi jump to the 5th position in the league table with 33 points.

Meanwhile newly promoted side Port City FC continued their impressive home form as they beat Kotoku Royals 1-0 at home. Dawda Rakibu scored the match-winner for Port City FC in the 42nd minute to keep them in second place with 44 points after Matchday 21.

Still in Zone Three, Okwawu United secured their fourth successive home victory, following a 1-0 win over FC Nania. Gideon Offei scored the only goal in the game three minutes before halftime. Okwawu United are third in the Zone with 37 points after 21 rounds of matches.
