Black Princesses Assistant and Ampem Darkoa Ladies head Coach, Joe Nana Adarkwa has been nominated for Coach of the Year - Women’s category in the 2023 CAF Awards.

Nana Adarkwa has performed incredibly well with Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the year under review - leading the club to win the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League and the Women’s FA Cup.

He made history after becoming only the second Ghanaian coach to win the WAFU Zone B Women's Champions League in Nigeria.

Nana Adarkwa is currently guiding Ampem Darkoa Ladies in their first ever appearance in the CAF Women's Champions League.

The Ghanaian champions have already picked up a semifinal ticket after finishing  ahead of holders AS FAR club in Group B of the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League in Cote D’Ivoire.
