Na God make comeback to beat FC Nania, Still Believe smash Accra Athletic in Zone Three

Newcomers Still Believe FC made giant strides on Matchday two of the Access Bank Division One League as they annihilated Accra Athletic 4-0 on the road. The newly promoted side who were crowned champions of the Greater Accra Division Two League at the end of last season were held to a 2-2 draw on Matchday 1 by Kings Palace Football Club at the Theatre of Dreams – Dawu. But it is their Matchady two performance that has caught the attention of Zone three clubs.

Musibau Aziz opened the scoring in the 9th minute as Still Believe FC held on until the break. Back from recess, Abdul Rauf Alidu (56th), Bashir Hadi Bamba (90+4) and Godfred Sarpong (90+5) scored a hat-trick of goals as they romped to an empathic 4-0 victory on the road.

At the Tema Park - Na God FC came from behind to record a 3-1 victory against FC Nania. MaCarthy Francis Kwabena scored the early goal in the game in the 9th minute for Nania before Owusu Brefo’s equalizer from a spot kick in the 31st minute. Ebenezer Annan scored eight minutes to give Na God FC a 2-1 lead before Samuel Ntiako Yeboah added the third goal in the 45th minute to complete the victory.

Meanwhile Attram De Visser shared the spoils with Susubiribi SC on Friday. Elsewhere Allen Ababio scored the decisive goal for Kotoku Royals in a 1-0 win over Akatsi All Stars to pick their first three points of the season.
