Nsoatreman FC will square off against Algerian side CS Constantine in the 2nd preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The highly anticipated first-leg clash will kick-off at 15:00 GMT, as the Ghanaian club seeks to advance to the group stage of the continental competition.

Nsoatreman FC impressed in the 1st preliminary round, securing an emphatic 4-0 aggregate victory over Elect-Sport FC, marking their strong entry into the CAF Confederation Cup.

Now, with the group phase within sight, they face a sterner test against CS Constantine, a more experienced side in African competitions.

A win over the two legs would see Nsoatreman FC make history by advancing to the group phase for the first time in their young history as a club.

However, the challenge ahead is significant, as the team will need to bring their best game to overcome the Algerian opposition, both at home and away.

The return leg is scheduled to be held in Algeria on 21st September 2024, where Nsoatreman will have to contend with an imposing crowd and challenging weather conditions. A positive result in the first leg at Accra will be crucial to their chances of advancing.

The stakes are high, and Nsoatreman FC will be looking to make a strong statement at home in their quest to make it to the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup.
