Kofi Asmah's first half strike earned Medeama SC a 1-0 home win over Karela United in an outstanding Premier League match  on Wednesday January 1, 2025.

Medeama  took the lead on the stroke of the first half as Kofi Asmah seized on a chance to score the only goal of the match at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

Karela United failed to breakthrough a solid home backline as they fell to their 7th defeat of the season. The Pride and Passion lie 12th in the table with 14 points from 15 games.
