
The second batch of players for the national U-16 screening are to report to the Glowlamp Soccer Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. This follows the initiation of the first batch of players a week ago in preparation for the 7th edition of the Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational Tournament, scheduled for May 25, 2025.
Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey will lead the training sessions as head coach, assisted by John Oppong Welbeck and Awudu Issaka.
The Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational Tournament will bring together teams from around the world, providing a platform for Ghana's young players to test their skills against top opposition from Mexico, France, Brazil, Ivory Coast, and Togo.
The tournament will play a crucial role in the team's development, preparing them for future international competitions.
