The victorious national U-15 team has returned home after clinching the 2025 Mondialito tournament with a 4-1 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final.

Upon arrival, the team was greeted by Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and Executive Council Member; Joe Abu Salam, Vice Chairman of the Juvenile (COLTS) Committee; and Michael Fiaduse, a member of the Juvenile (COLTS) Committee.

Ghana kicked off the tournament with an impressive 4-1 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv's U-15 team in the first match, followed by a remarkable 8-0 victory over Maccabi Bnei Eilat. The team was set to face Maccabi Petah Tikva and Hapoel Petah Tikva on Saturday, April 5, 2025, with their sights firmly set on the trophy.

After two impressive wins on Day One, the U-15 Boys began Day Two with a 2-0 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva, before thumping Hapoel Tel Aviv 4-0 to secure a spot in the final.

In a repeat of the opening match, Coach Yaw Preko's side took on Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv and defeated them 4-1 to claim the title.

The Ghana Football Association will continue to provide them with matches to aid their development and transition into the National U-16 and U-17 teams, also known as the Black Starlets.
