Victory Club Warriors FC clinched third-place in Zone One after a dramatic penalty shootout against Techiman Liberty FC in the Access Bank Division One League Zone One play-off at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

The game saw both teams deadlocked after a tense regulation time and extra time, with neither side willing to concede defeat easily.

The tension reached its peak during the penalty shootout, where nerves were tested and fortunes swung with each decisive kick.

After missing their first two kicks, Victory Club Warriors took control of the shoot-outs and won 4-2. 

Fans of Victory Club Warriors who were at the stadium erupted into celebrations after the kicks, marking a fitting end to an arduous and competitive season.

Players and officials of Victory Club Warriors were awarded Bronze medals by the GFA for finishing third in Zone One of the Access Bank Division League.
