Ati Zigi starts in post against Portugal

Otto Addo has named a strong starting line for the World Cup opener against Portugal.

The St Gallen goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi has been given the nod to start in post fir Ghana at the 974 stadium Thursday evening. He will lead a backline that consists of Alidu Seidu, Baba Abdul Rahman, Alexander Djiku, Daniel Amartey and Salisu Mohammed.

Salis Mohammed has been deployed in front of the back line with Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus complimenting him in midfield.

Captain of the side Andre Ayew will play in the hole while Inaki Williams plays upfront.

The match is scheduled for 19:00 kick off at the 974 stadium in Doha.
