The national under 20 female national team the Black Princesses will face their Algerian counterparts in a FIFA U20 World Cup qualifying match on Friday September 15.
The game will be played at 7pm (local time) at the Omar Hamadi Stadium in Algiers.
Ghana's delegation which is made up 18 players, members of the technical team and management members, arrived in Algeria on Wednesday evening.
Coach Yusuf Basigi and his team trained on Thursday at the USM Algiers stadium as they prepare for Friday's game.
Ghana will host Algeria in the return leg encounter in a fortnight.
Winner of the two-legged tie will advance to the next stage of the 2019 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which will be staged in France.
