Brong Ahafo Region were crowned champions of the Elite U17 Girls Competition in Prampram after beating Northern Region 3-1 on penalties.

Brong Ahafo and Northern Region played out a goalless draw in regulation time in the final. Both sides had early chances but were denied by their respective goalkeepers. Mercy Akilvoa’s solo run hit the post for Brong Ahafo, while Northern Region’s Mohammed Ruhia shot didn’t trouble Fadila Musah in the second half.

The game ended 0-0 and headed to penalties where Fadila Musah saved three spot kicks as Brong Ahafo won 3-1 to lift the Elite U17 Girls Championship.
