Participants of the CAF Licence C Coaching Course held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram have undergone comprehensive training in football Integrity, ethics and safeguarding as part of their coaching education.
The programme delivered sessions on Integrity and ethical conduct in football, with a strong focus on match manipulation and the importance of preserving the integrity of the game.
Participants were taken through the relevant rules and regulations of CAF, FIFA, and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), reinforcing the need for compliance and professionalism at all levels.
A major component of the course focused on Safeguarding, where participants were educated on the various forms of abuse in football and their critical role in protecting young players.
The sessions emphasised appropriate behaviour, the creation of safe environments, and the responsibility of coaches as custodians of children under their care.
In line with CAF’s broader safeguarding efforts, the course also addressed child trafficking in football.
Participants were equipped with the knowledge to identify potential risks and take proactive steps to prevent the exploitation of young talents.
